Obtaining a Master’s Degree from the Hollywood International University requires the completion of 40 academic credits beyond the Bachelor’s level. The University’s educational approach is both flexible and professionally oriented, focusing on the prior work experience of adult learners.
Academic credit validation is based on a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate’s Curriculum Vitae (CV), taking into consideration:
- Academic achievements
- Professional experience
- Personal and managerial competencies
- Cultural and professional background
- Project work submissions
- Final thesis
Distance Learning Methodology
All Master’s Degree programs offered by the Hollywood International University are delivered entirely online through a structured Distance Learning format.
Unlike traditional university programs that rely heavily on examinations, the Master’s pathway is based on the completion of written Project Works, also referred to as academic units. Each project is assigned a specific number of academic credits. These credits, combined with those obtained through the final thesis, contribute toward the total required for graduation.
In certain cases, candidates with highly qualified professional backgrounds may obtain sufficient credit through CV evaluation to gain direct access to the final thesis stage, thereby significantly reducing the overall program duration.
Degree Types and Academic Fields
The Hollywood International University offers two types of Master’s Degrees through Distance Learning:
- Master of Arts (MA)
- Master of Science (M.Sc)
Through its seven academic faculties, the University provides access to more than 250 specialized study programs designed specifically for:
- Professionals
- Managers

- Corporate leaders
These programs are intended for individuals who already hold responsible roles within organizational or managerial environments and who seek formal academic recognition of competencies acquired throughout their professional careers.
As such, these study programs are not structured for young students following traditional academic pathways. Their primary objective is to formally validate previously acquired knowledge and promote the continued personal and professional development of candidates who are already actively engaged in the workforce.
Professional Recognition
The Master’s Degree awarded by the Hollywood International University is designed to enhance professional practice and certify competencies at an international level.
As a non-formal qualification, it is not intended for public institutional recognition or for the acquisition of new technical, literary, or scientific competencies required for regulated professions. Rather, it serves as an academic certification of professional expertise, supporting career advancement in private sector environments, international organizations, consulting practices, and entrepreneurial ventures.
